The Offutt Aero Club, named the Curtis E. LeMay Flight Training Center, was the first flying club in the Armed Forces. The club provides aircraft rental and a Federal Aviation Administration-approved school for Private Pilot through Airline Transport Pilot certification. The club has several aircraft, ranging from basic single engine types to multi-engine. Nearly all aircraft are certified for instrument flying. Several FAA-certified flight instructors are avail­able and flight instruction is tailored to meet the needs of the members. TDYs and shiftwork schedules can be accommodated.
