This is a video done by our friend and MacDill AFB base historian William "Bill" Polson. The 6th Air Mobility Wing is stationed at MacDill AFB and not much was know about them before the 1930s. My dad was stationed at MacDill for 16 years and some time afterwards we say a flag with my great grandfathers unit emblem at MacDill AFB. It turns out my Great Grandfather Jesse Snyder was stationed at France Field, Panama with the 6th Composite Group now known as the 6th Air Mobility Wing. we have a ~1 inch thick photo album of the unit from the 1920's!
