Volcanoes

The Kamchatka Peninsula is one of the most active volcanic regions along the "Pacific Ring of Fire". Over a hundred volcanoes stretch across this land mass, of which a dozen or more are currently active. The youngest are located along the eastern half of the peninsula. Klyuchevskoy is one of the most active and renown volcanoes in the world and dominates Kamchatka's main cluster of volcanoes know as "The Klyuchi Group".
